Ospreys Perfect from the Free Throw Line
CORAL GABLES, Fla. - North Florida men's basketball concluded non-conference play with a tough matchup that saw the Ospreys (7-8) fall, 95-55, to Miami (FL) (10-2) in a game where Chaz Lanier recorded his 14th double-digit game in 15 overall on Friday evening.
Lanier led UNF in scoring with 12 points, while Jah Nze and Jake van der Heijden paced the team in rebounds with five apiece. The Ospreys were perfect from the free throw line with four different players making every shot.
UNF has now played Florida State, Georgia and Miami (FL) in the span of ten days. The Ospreys also had matchups against Iowa and LSU to round out its guarantee games for the season.

Nate Lliteras started the scoring for UNF, knocking down a trey early in the period…Ametri Moss joined in on the action grabbing his first bucket…Nze hit his first trey of the evening before Dorian James was fouled in the paint to become the ninth different scorer for the Ospreys…Lanier recorded his fourth trey while Moss grabbed four points, shooting two from the line…Trent Coleman scored his first points of the game before van der Heijden was sent to the free-throw line for two…Nze hit the reverse layup and Coleman went on a five-point scoring run to end the game as Miami (FL) came away with the 95-45 victory in the non-conference finale.
