Lanier Scores 22 Points on 22nd Birthday
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Chaz Lanier put on a show with 22 points on his 22nd birthday, but North Florida men's basketball (7-6) fell short of an upset bid against Florida State (5-5), 91-75, on Tuesday evening.
The Ospreys stayed strong to its philosophy early with its first four baskets made from beyond the arc. UNF had a late push in the second half with three separate runs of six points or more in the final seven minutes, but it was ultimately not enough against the Seminoles on the road.
