
Five Players Selected to Women's Soccer CSC Academic All-District Team

First Academic All-District Selections in Program History
GREENWOOD, Ind. - Kayla Bond, Jersi Dadah, Zara Siassi, Averi Walraven and Lauren Weiss represented North Florida women's soccer on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, as announced by the national organization on Tuesday, Nov. 21.
The quintet becomes the first UNF players in program history to be selected to the CSC Academic All-District Team since expanding the selections in 2022. Zara Siassi also adds on to her accolades from the 2023 season after picking up Second Team All-ASUN honors as defender.
"It is great to see five of our student-athletes receive this recognition," said head coach Eric Faulconer. "To be selected for both your play on field and your work in the classroom is a true testament to the commitment level of each one of our honorees."
The 2023 CSC Academic All-District Team recognizes the nation's finest student-athletes on and off the field. Honorees advance to the All-American round, with CSC Academic All-America Team selections released on Wednesday, Dec. 20.
The 2023 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced December 19 (men) and December 20 (women). The CSC Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed at the links above.

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022-23 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
