Women’s Tennis Welcomes Sofia Snitko

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida women's tennis is excited to announce the signing of Sofia Snitko as she prepares to join the Ospreys at the start of the spring 2024 semester. Snitko was born in Russia but has spent time training and competing internationally since age 5.

Fun Fact/Fondest Memory

At the age of 12 after flying to Siberia and dealing with jet lag, missed the last call for the main draw of the first round of singles at the Russian Tennis Tour national event.
I won that match in two-straight sets, got through to semifinals and won her first-ever bronze medal nationwide.
