ATLANTA - North Florida men's tennis opened up ITA Southeast Regionals with a day of qualifying singles competition as three Ospreys combined for four wins.
PJ Kotan headlined the day, advancing to the quarterfinals with a pair of wins.
After play was moved indoors due to rain, Kotan defeated Anthony Weingarten of Kennesaw State, 7-6 (9-7), 3-6 and 1-0 (13-11) in a marathon tiebreaker. He then dispatched Max Weir, 6-4, 6-2, of Georgia State to move on to tomorrow's round.

Bruno Vietri also earned first round wins before bowing out in the round of 16. Marques defeated Samuel Barrow of Mercer, 6-2, 6-3, but came up just short against Juan Jose Rodriguez Garceran of Stetson.
Vietri rallied past Naufal Kamaruzzaman of Georgia State, 5-7, 6-1, 1-0 (10-6) before bowing out against Luca Hotze of UCF.
