JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida men's soccer continues non-conference play on the road when the Ospreys take on a hot FIU team on Tuesday, Sept. 6, at 7 p.m.
FIU will enter this game with a 2-1 record after playing all three games against top-25 ranked teams. They also played an exhibition match against an ASUN opponent, Stetson, and won, 7-0.
The Panthers are riding back-to-back top 25 wins on the road, having defeated No. 25 St. John's, 1-0, and No. 13 North Carolina, 2-1. Their lone loss was in an offensive slugfest against No. 14 Akron as the Panthers fell to the Zips, 5-3.
Last season, the Panthers finished their campaign with a 12-4-2 record with wins against three top-15 teams, including a 4-1 win against No. 1-ranked Marshall, who were the defending champions at the time. They finished their year dropping the opening games of the C-USA Tournament and the NCAA Tournament to No. 10 Kentucky and Wake Forest.

So far this season, four different players have scored goals for the Panthers with Afrifa leading the way with three scores. Five different players also have an assist on those six total goals.
North Florida will play in the final match of a three-game road trip when they face Central Arkansas on Saturday, Sept. 10, at 8 p.m. ET.
