CLEMSON, S.C. - A busy second day at the Clemson Hidden Duals saw UNF take home five wins, headlined by
PJ Kotan's sweep of a pair of Tigers singles players.
The quartet of
Jonas Hartenstein,
Matt Carroll,
Bruno Vietri and
PJ Kotan took on a tough field once again. UNF faced Auburn, Wisconsin, Presbyterian, Clemson and Charlotte between singles and doubles play.
Kotan swept Clemson's Tim Pitts and later nearly blanked Ethan Silva, also of Clemson, 6-0, 6-1. Carroll got into the win column again, knocking off Ivan Dreycopp of Charlotte.
Jonas Hartenstein also picked up a victory against Spencer Whitaker of the host Tigers. All told, UNF played nine singles matches.
UNF rounded out the day with doubles matches against Charlotte and Wisconsin. Hartenstein and Kotan added a win to their ledger, winning in tiebreaker fashion, 7-6, against Vasco Prata and Coy Simon.
The group concludes play at the Clemson Hidden Duals tomorrow.
