Local Product Spencer Dorosheff Joins Men’s Tennis

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - With UNF men's tennis and newcomer Spencer Dorosheff making their season and UNF debuts this weekend at the UCF Fall Sizzler, get to know local product Spencer Dorosheff out of Bucholz HS.

Dorosheff completes UNF's roster for the fall 2022 season, preceding the spring 2023 addition of University of Texas Rio Grande Valley transfer, Juan Cenoz.

I play tennis because I love competing and figuring out how to win when I'm not playing my best.

When on the tennis court I'm looking to dictate with my forehand and move forward when possible. But, I am also willing to grind from the baseline if needed.

Do you have a favorite moment in your tennis career?
Clinching the match for my high school team to advance us to the regional final.

My coaches, family and mentors inspire me to be the best version of myself.

I don't like pasta/mac & cheese

Owning my own business (Thy Will Bee Done Apiary), which has been profitable from day one.
