Munoz Earns Peruvian National Team Training Camp Invitation

Camp Begins June 13

LIMA, Peru - North Florida women's soccer is proud to announce that its own Ariana Munoz is selected as an invitee to the Peruvian Football Federation's training camp for its national team. Munoz is one of 30 athletes competing for a spot on the roster in advance of two matches slated for this summer.

Munoz is among a select group of only five Division I women's soccer student-athletes competing in the camp beginning June 13. With a selection to the team, Munoz would be eligible to compete in FIFA friendlies slated for Mexico June 23-28 and in the Copa America Tournament in Colombia July 8-30.

The Jacksonville, Fla., product out of Bolles High School and Jacksonville FC has appeared in 21 matches over two seasons with UNF, tallying first team all-conference honors and multiple United Soccer Coaches laurels. She was also an ASUN Winners for Life Honoree for UNF.
