Ospreys Stream 154 Events, Total Over Estimated 66,000 Hours Viewed
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The latest athletic year proved to be a milestone one for North Florida Athletics' broadcasts as the department streamed a record 154 events, totaling over an estimated 66,000 hours of viewership.
UNF set records for total ESPN+ broadcasts, with 70 streaming to the ESPN+ platform, while a record 84 events were streamed on SWOOPLife Live. It's the first time that UNF has reached the 70-broadcast marker for ESPN+, while SWOOPLife Live broke 80 events for the first time since it began back in the fall of 2019.
"At our level, producing 70 broadcasts on ESPN+ is not an easy accomplishment. It would not be possible to do this without the 20-plus students and all of the staff that help put together some of the highest-level broadcasts in the ASUN," said broadcast manager Kyle Johannes. "This is what we strive for at North Florida and will continue to strive for in the years to come. We hope that the end product seen by viewers is as close to a linear-production as possible. We've come extremely far from the first ESPN+ broadcasts produced here in 2015 and we're excited for what is next."
North Florida's ESPN+ and SWOOPLife Live broadcasts also provided real-world work experience for over 20 UNF students during the 2021-22 school year alone.

SWOOPLife Live Metrics (84 streams)
ESPN+ (38 streams - numbers through 3/15, not including softball and baseball streams)
