Against The Opponent
UNF and FGCU close out the regular season with a three-game set ... its the second three-game series between these two ASUN East Division foes ... the last six meetings between the two teams have come down in Fort Myers ... UNF and FGCU did play a series in Jacksonville to open conference play during the 2021 season ... UNF has won three of the last five against FGCU, including two of three in southwest Florida earlier this season ... FGCU paces the all-time series, 13-8, in games played at UNF ... the last time North Florida took a home series against FGCU was during March of 2019 ... UNF would eliminate FGCU from ASUN Postseason play during that year as well.

Last Time Out
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - For the second game in as many nights, North Florida baseball created some excitement with a late-inning rally, but stranded runners loomed large as the Ospreys came up one big hit short in a 5-4 loss at Jacksonville Saturday, May 14.

CoSIDA All-District
Graduate transfer outfielder Brock Edge was named to the CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America) Academic All-District team as announced by the national organization Thursday, May 12 ... Edge is the second such honoree in as many seasons for North Florida ... 2021 ASUN Player of the Year Alex Kachler was tabbed to the honor last year.

60-Hit Milestone
UNF has five players with at least 50 hits on the season, while Aidan Sweatt, Abraham Sequera and Isaiah Byars have already reached 60 hits ... Brock Edge is one hit shy of 60 and Cade Westbrook has 54 ... North Florida has not had five Ospreys reach 60 hits in the same season since the 2016 campaign.

Playoff Contention (per the ASUN)
ASUN Tournament Participants = Eight teams will advance to the ASUN Tournament

ASUN Tournament Qualification = The top three teams from each division will qualify automatically for the ASUN Tournament. The tiebreaker criteria shall be used to break ties as needed in the division to determine the three automatic qualifiers from each division. The remaining fourth place divisional finishers will then be compared to each other with the team with the higher RPI advancing. The remaining fourth place finisher will then be compared to the fifth place finisher in the opposite division, with the higher NCAA RPI ranked team advancing.
