Ospreys Win Every Singles Set Played
FORT MYERS, Fla. - North Florida women's tennis (15-8) took care of business in the ASUN Championship Quarterfinals, sweeping Kennesaw State while taking every singles set played in a 4-0 rout of the Owls (14-9).
North Florida has advanced to the semifinals every season in which it has played in the ASUN Championship. With the win, North Florida has won nine-straight matches, pitting the Ospreys against second-seeded Stetson in the ASUN Championship Semifinals Saturday, April 23.

A day after being selected as ASUN Doubles Pair of the Year, Kit Gulihur and Ana Paula Melilo came through with a 6-1 win at the first slot. KSU evened things up with a 6-3 win at the second pair, but Annabelle Davis and Summer Yardley clinched it thanks to a 6-3 victory.Â
Singles started as doubles finished for the Ospreys, with UNF taking every single opening singles set. Davis won in straight-sets as did Gulihur, setting up a match-clinching win by Kendall Nash at the sixth position.
