JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - For the ninth and tenth times in less than two weeks, North Florida baseball suits up and takes its home field when the Butler Bulldogs of the Big East meet at Harmon Stadium for a pair of games Tuesday and Wednesday. UNF is hosting its second Big East foe on the year after taking on UConn in late February.
The midweek games conclude a 10-game home stand for the Ospreys, although UNF will be back home Sunday, March 13 after going to UCF for a pair of games.

Against The Opponent
UNF and Butler are meeting for the third and fourth time and the first time in North Florida's Division-I era. The last meeting between the two squads was almost 18 years ago to the day as UNF won, 11-3, March 9, 2004 ... the Ospreys also won, 5-3, back in 2002.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Sunday's series finale between North Florida baseball and Boston College (4-5) saw a staggering 16 pitchers sent to the mound, but the Ospreys did that total one tally better with a 17-run explosion in UNF's 17-10 slugfest triumph against BC March 6.

Sunday Slugfest
Boston College sent 11 different pitchers to the mound Sunday, and UNF met each stride-for-stride, scoring 17 runs on 17 hits. A number of notable marks were reached during the Sunday slugfest.
- UNF notched its most hits since 17 at Citadel Feb. 26 of last season.
- UNF picked up its first-ever win against Boston College.
- UNF's 17 runs was its most since Feb. 25, 2017 against Northeastern.
- It was UNF's first home win against an ACC team since defeating Florida State April 6, 2010.
- UNF has won a home game against a Power Five team in three of the last four years. UNF defeated Ohio State, 9-5, March of 2020 and Missouri twice in 2019.
- It was UNF's most runs scored against a Power Five team since scoring 17 against Mississippi State in a 17-8 win Feb. 23, 2008.
