Ospreys Win Eighth-Straight Home ASUN Regular Season Match
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -Â North Florida women's tennis rallied from a deficit in doubles, posted a fast start in singles and Anslee Long clinched it as UNF (8-8, 2-1 ASUN) secured a crucial ASUN win against No. 74 FGCU (10-6, 3-1 ASUN) Sunday, March 27.
The Ospreys have now won eight-straight regular season ASUN matches played at home while handing FGCU its first conference loss of the year in a rematch of the 2021 ASUN Championship.

How it Happened
FGCU looked to be in position to win doubles after taking the top slot, but that wasn't for long. Annabelle Davis and Summer Yardley got UNF even by winning at the third position. After being down 4-2, Anslee Long and Isabel Oliveira rebounded to win four-straight games and secure the doubles point for UNF.
Annabelle Davis won in dominant fashion, winning 6-0, 6-0, to put the Ospreys up 2-0. Kit Gulihur brought the Ospreys within a court of clinching thanks to a straight-sets win at the top slot.Â
FGCU got on the board, winning at six singles while forcing a third set in two more courts. Long squashed FGCU's chance at a comeback, winning in three frames at the fifth slot to clinch the match.
The Eagles got their second point with a win at the fourth slot. Yardley added one more for North Florida, winning in three frames against Isabella Colmenares at second singles.
