3/21/2022 6:23:00 PM

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida baseball begins its longest road stint of the season in Tallahassee Tuesday with the continuation of last week's game against FAMU before turning around to play a full game against the Rattlers.

Both games are played in Tallahassee, with things getting underway at 3 p.m. Play begins in the top of the sixth inning with the game tied 7-7. North Florida will be the home team for that game as the Ospreys were the original host March 15 during what would turn out to be a suspended game due to rain.

The statistics from the first five innings of the March 15 game are not currently factored into the current cumulative statistics for each team. They won't be official until the conclusion of game one tomorrow. The first game is technically game 18 on the season, with game two marking game 22.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Maxed Out
North Florida right-handed pitcher Max McKinley was named ASUN Pitcher of the Week Monday, March 21 ... the Tallahassee, Fla., native spun 7.1 innings of two-run ball during a 5-2 win against Liberty Saturday ... McKinley fanned seven while not permitting any walks and scattering five hits ... it's his second-career ASUN Pitcher of the Week honor after taking home the award in 2019.

Following Up on the First Five Innings
Looking back on the suspended game from March 15, FAMU got out to a 7-1 lead before the Ospreys rattled off six unanswered runs to tie things up ... rain fell throughout innings four and five until conditions became unplayable, forcing the suspension of the game ...
