Baseball Takes One of Two in Doubleheader at UCF

Ospreys Erupt for 19 Hits in Game One

ORLANDO, Fla. - It was a tale of two games in Friday's doubleheader at UCF. North Florida erupted for 19 hits in a 10-2 game-one win, while the Knights (11-4) pulled off the seven-inning shutout of the Ospreys as North Florida dropped the second game, 4-0, splitting the twin bill.

UNF's 19-hit total in the first game was the program's most since pounding out 20 in a win against FGCU March 24, 2019. Max McKinley went five innings, allowing only one earned run to tally the victory in the first game as five different Ospreys (5-11) notched multi-hit performances.

UCF's Connor Staine went the distance in game two, allowing only two hits.
