PLACIDA, Fla. - North Florida men's golf posted great individual rounds on the links to finish the day standing in fourth at the inaugural Coral Creek Club Invitational hosted by FGCU.

Nick Gabrelcik was the top performer for the Ospreys through two rounds sitting at 2-under 140 entering Tuesday's final round. Cooper Smith had the best score in the first round for UNF at 1-under 70, while Robbie Higgins recorded their best score in the second round at 3-under 68.

ROUND REFLECTIONS

- Gabrelcik was the most consistent player for the Ospreys with scores of even-par 71 and 2-under 69 to sit in the top 10 at ninth overall.
- Gabrelcik leads the field in par-three hole average at 3-under (2.63 average) on those holes.
- Robbie Higgins, the reigning ASUN Golfer of the Week, played a great second round of 3-under 68 to jump up to sit tied for 27th after the first day.
- Cooper Smith was the top score in the opening round for UNF at 1-under 70 to help him post a 5-over 147 mark after the second round.
- Jason Duff and Davis Lee rounded out the group for the Ospreys with Duff scoring back-to-back rounds of 2-over 73 and Lee finishing day two at 5-over 147.
- Lance Yates and Cody Carroll also did well as individuals, as Yates sits tied for 16th at even-par 142 and Carroll is tied for 67th at 9-over 151.
- UNF did well on par-three holes, as they were tied for second on best average score (+4, 3.10) through two rounds.
- The Ospreys had two players shoot rounds in the 60s and five players shoot par or better.
