UNF Remains Unbeaten in Home Openers During DI Days
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida women's tennis finally had the chance to return to its home Friday against Flagler as the Ospreys (3-4) defeated the Saints (1-1), 5-2, Feb. 11.
UNF is unbeaten in home openers during the program's Division I-era.Â

How it Happened
With doubles tied, 1-1, Isabel Oliveira and Anslee Long defeated Flagler's second-doubles pair, 6-4, to clinch the first point for UNF.Â
Freshman Anslee Long continued to play solid tennis in the early going, giving UNF a 2-0 lead with a win at the four slot. Sean Lodzki got in the win column, sweeping the first set and claiming a 6-3 victory in the second frame.Â
Flagler got on the board with a win at five singles, although Oliveira served clutched once again, clinching the match with a 6-4, 6-3 win.Â
Kit Gulihur picked up her 10th singles win of the 2021-22 season at the top slot to add to the lead. Flagler picked up another singles point at the second slot as Summer Yardley came up short in three sets.
