McKevitt Paces Women's Golf in Opening Round of Lady Paladin

FIRST TEE — Fifth-year senior Sara McKevitt carded a 3-under 69 to lead the North Florida women's golf squad in Friday's first round of the season opening Lady Paladin Invitational. McKevitt ended the opening day in second-place on the medalist standings.

- North Florida was third in field for Par 3 scoring with a 3.10 avg | McKevitt led the field in Par 5 scoring at 3-under and a 4.25 avg
- Tournament host Furman, was the lone squad under-par for the day shooting an 8-under 280 paced by medalist leader Anna Morgan with a 7-under 65

North Florida continues play in the Lady Paladin with second round action Saturday beginning at 9:45 a.m. from Hole 10. Ospreys will be paired with Western Kentucky and UNC Wilmington on day two.
