Eisenbeiss Opens with 3-over 75 at NCAA Championship

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- North Florida freshman Christin Eisenbeiss carded an opening round 3-over 75 on Friday in the NCAA Championship at Grayhawk Golf Club.Â
Eisenbeiss, the first Osprey and just the fourth ASUN golfer to play in the NCAA Championship as an individual, ended the day in a tie for 52nd of the medalist standings. She recorded three birdies in her debut round at Nationals including a stretch of two birdies in a three hole span midway through her back nine.
NCAA Championship play for Eisenbeiss continues with second round action Saturday starting on Hole 10 at 3:25 p.m.
After 54 holes of play, the Top 15 teams and nine individuals not on an advancing team will play a final round of 18 holes to decide the individual National Championship.
