North Florida | 4-3-1, 2-2-2 ASUN
Jacksonville | 4-2, 4-4-1
- Ospreys held the edge in shots, 10-3 including 4-2 on target.Â
- Padraic Gilley only had to make one save in the game as after the lone goal, the UNF defense shut down Jacksonville and only allowed two more shots for the game.
Â
"Difficult result for us to swallow. We conceded a goal in the first two minutes of the game and the slow start ended up being the difference. I felt we created quality chances and outplayed JU the rest of the game once we settled 15 minutes into the game. We had at least six quality looks at scoring the equalizer. The regular season is done and now we are going to turn our attention to FGCU on Saturday in the quarterfinals." - head coach Derek Marinatos

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Jacksonville wasted no time as the Dolphins got on the board when Cao Chaves collected the ball off a throw in. He then crossed the ball through UNF's box where it found the foot of Joshua Moreira at the top who sent it into the top right for the 1-0 lead.
- In the ninth minute, Cormac Begley fired a shot from just outside the 18', but it was blocked by a JU defender to end the threat. Four minutes later, Robbie Soronellas also had a shot blocked by the defense.
- As time ticked away in the opening frame, Bryson Smith had his shot collected by Max Levy to give Jax the 1-0 lead at the break.
- A late attempt to tie the game fell short as LJ Estes connected on a cross but his header went just high.
