3. Well That's a First
Redshirt-senior Eddie Miller has been a staple out of the bullpen in five seasons of competition for UNF … Wednesday he will make his first-career start after collecting 73 consecutive relief appearances … the lefty will move into third place all-time in UNF DI history for career appearances … teammate Ethan Jones had a similar thing happen earlier this year … the righty had made 69 consecutive appearances as a reliever before making his first-career start February 23 against Florida.

4. Batting 1.000
Graduate student Alex Kachler had a monster day in Sunday's 14-6 win against Jacksonville … Kachler went 5-for-5 with three runs, two RBI and a two-run home run … the Lithia, Fla., native is the first Osprey since 2016 to collect five hits in a game … Kachler is leading the league in hitting at .383 and is coming off his second ASUN Player of the Week selection.

5. Sac Flies, Double Plays and More
The Ospreys rank in the top 25 in a number of statistical categories offensively, defensively and on the mound … UNF has turned 31 double plays, 17th in the country … at 1.03 double plays turned per game, UNF ranks 5th in the nation … Blake Marabell is first in the league and 10th in the nation with five sac flies … Tanner Clark is fanning only once every 11.8 times to the plate, 23rd in the nation in that category … Max McKinley is allowing just 1.1 walks/nine innings, 21st fewest per nine frames in the league.

Outfielder Blake Marabell is putting on a highlight reel with the glove this season … not once, but twice has the senior been on SportsCenter for his play in the outfield … he robbed extra bases, making a play while crashing into the wall in left at Florida State … Friday he was number one on SportsCenter's Top 10 Plays after robbing JU's Duncan Hunter of a home run.
