JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Games six, seven and eight against Power Five teams this season are slated for this weekend as UNF baseball goes to Athens, Ga., for a three-game set against No. 21 Georgia. Georgia is also ranked No. 5 in the Collegiate Baseball Division I poll as of March 1.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - In a game that didn't see any extra-base hits, UNF baseball (3-6) was clipped by Georgia Southern, 3-1, in a small-ball battle at Harmon Stadium Wednesday, March 3. Wednesday's game against Georgia Southern saw each team strand 11 runners. Neither team had an extra-base hit.

3. Notables
Fernandina Beach, Fla., native and freshman infielder Aidan Sweatt is on an eight-game hitting streak to start the season and his UNF career … after going 4-for-5 at The Citadel Saturday he was also on a four-game multi-hit streak … the freshman also hit .556 with runners on and .500 with the bases empty last week in five games … Grad transfer Alex Kachler was named ASUN Player of the Week Feb. 22 ... Kachler is 6th in the nation for total hits (14) as of Monday … Prior to Wednesday's game, Tanner Clark hadn't struck out in 29 at-bats ... that was good for tied-for-first in the nation … North Florida's bullpen is 3-1 with two saves this season … it fanned 14 in 16.2 innings at The Citadel.

4. Climbing the Ranks
Redshirt-senior Eddie Miller spun 2.0 scoreless to secure his 10th career save in a 3-2 win against The Citadel Saturday … Miller breaks a tie with former teammate Trace Norkus for fourth all-time in UNF DI history for career saves … he's two behind another former teammate, Matt Naylor, for third in UNF DI history … Miller has a 3.50 ERA and .230 opponents' batting average in 63 appearances.

• Georgia is ranked 21st in the nation in the latest USA Today NCAA Baseball Coaches Poll.
• UGA was knocked off by Kennesaw State, 6-4, Wednesday at Kennesaw State, snapping a seven-game winning streak.

• UGA has pounded 11 home runs in nine games, three coming from Garrett Blaylock's bat.
