JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - ASUN play begins for UNF baseball this weekend when the Ospreys go across town for a three-game series against Jacksonville. 

It's the first of two three-game sets between the two teams this season.

• The Dolphins pace head-to-head place, 15-14, when playing at JU.
• UNF took the last three-game series between the teams April 5-7, winning two of three at Harmon Stadium.

TAMPA, Fla. - UNF baseball (6-11) made it three straight wins against USF (9-9) with a 3-2 road victory Tuesday, March 23 in Tampa. Southpaw Zach Chappell turned in a quality start, North Florida plated the tying and go-ahead run in the seventh and the bullpen only allowed one hit in three frames as UNF secured the win.

3. 24 Games in a Row
Outfielder Blake Marabell has reached safely in all 17 games played this season … if you roll it back to the shortened 2020 season, Marabell has reached safely in 24 consecutive contests … the St. Johns, Fla., native is hitting an even .300 with six doubles, 21 hits, one home run and 10 RBI … he's hit safely in 13 of 17 games this season … the senior has tracked down 41 fly balls in the outfield this year, seeing time in left, center and right field.

4. Bullpen Breakdown
UNF relievers have secured four saves this season … righty Brandon Reitz is leading the way with three saves, good for 33rd in the nation and fourth in the ASUN … lefty Eddie Miller has one save this year and 10th for his career … the trio of Stephen Halstead, Reitz and Miller have fanned 37 in 33.2 innings … Halstead has a miniscule 0.73 ERA in 12.1 innings, allowing only one earned run so far this year … Miller is holding batters to a .179 batting average.
