Fast Times at Eagle Invitational for Osprey Swimming

FORT MYERS, Fla. – North Florida swimming closed out competition at the Eagle Invitational and capped its fall meet schedule with several strong swims on Saturday evening at the FGCU Aquatic Center.
COFFEY TALK
"Very happy with our performance this weekend. It was a total team effort. Ryan Showfety earned the 10th fastest time in program history for the 1650 Free. Annie Fletcher got 2nd in the 200 Back tonight and Ashley Cozad got 3rd in the 200 Fly. Our relays really did a great job all weekend with our 400 Free Relay coming very close to our school record to cap off the meet."

- Senior Ryan Showfety got the Ospreys started strong, earning a fourth-place finish in the 1650 Free with a time of 17:30.65 | Her time was a PR by five seconds and ranks as the 10th fastest all-time in program history
- In the 200 Back, senior Annie Fletcher finished on the podium in second-place after clocking a season best time of 2:04.23
- Junior Ashley Cozad wrapped up her strong weekend of performances earning a third-place finish in the 200 Fly with a PR time of 2:05.55
