Strong Swims Highlight Osprey Performances at FSU Quad Meet

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – North Florida swimming got strong swims including a one-two finish in the final event en route to posting a victory over Florida Southern on Saturday in the FSU Quad Meet. Ospreys dropped decisions to event host Florida State and West Florida.

CLIPBOARD NOTES
- Ashley Cozad posted a time of 59.27 in the 100 Fly and added a 2:09.97 in the 200 Fly in finishing first and second, respectively, in the head-to-head vs Florida Southern | Cozad also swam the lead leg in the decisive 200 Free Relay, leading the Ospreys to the win over FSC
- Taylor Warren clocked a time of 59.41 to finish 3rd overall in the 100 Back and added a swim of 2:13.12 in the 200 Back | She led off the 200 Free relay for UNF's second-place finishing squad
- Annie Fletcher notched a 1:00.00 for 5th in the 100 Back and was the top Osprey performer in the 200 Back with a 2:11.64
- Ashley Kephart was 4th in the 200 Free with a time of 1:57.14, 5th in the 100 Free (53.86) and was the anchor leg on UNF's victorious 200 Free Relay
- Other members of the winning 200 Free Relay squad included Marcia Shaw and Gabriella Reeves | The runner-up 200 Free relay group featured Warren, Julianna Graf, Esther Quackenbush and Lexi Calder

North Florida takes a couple weeks off from competition before heading to Fort Myers, Fla., for the FGCU Invitational on Nov. 18-20 to close out the 2021 portion of their schedule. Participating teams in the event include FGCU, FIU and Georgia Southern.
