Volleyball Sweeps Stetson, Wins Eighth Straight

Ospreys Off to Best Start in ASUN Play in Program History

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Home sweet home remained the narrative Friday night as UNF volleyball (15-1, 4-0 ASUN) held Stetson to .098 hitting and downed the Hatters (7-9, 2-2 ASUN) in straight sets Oct. 1 from the UNF Arena. The Ospreys have won a season-best eight straight matches and now set a program record for wins to start ASUN play.

Dariana Hollingsworth-Santana paced the Ospreys with her ninth double-double of the 2021 campaign as UNF picked up its seventh win in seven tries at the UNF Arena.

UNF 3, Stetson 0 (25-20, 25-14, 25-22)

UNF
Wright's Words
"Their style of play is something that we really focused on and were really well prepared for. They have some solid players on that team that I thought we held to a lower percentage; I think we held them below .100. You saw there in the third set we put up 19 kills and we got a lot of people in to keep us fresh through the weekend."
