North Florida men's track and field standouts Nick Morken and Fynn Timm broke a pair of school records. The Ospreys had athletes competing Friday at both the Florida Relays in Gainesville and the Spikes Classic in Daytona Beach.
Competing at the prestigious Florida Relays, Morken, a sophomore, bettered the 13-year old 1,500m record by three seconds, posting a personal best time of 3:42.56. Timm, a freshman, raced to a time of 8:55.98 in the 3,000m Steeplechase topping the previous mark set in 1987 by almost three seconds.
