THE FACTS: Men's Tennis Set for Three-Match Weekend in Charlotte

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -  The UNF men's tennis team travels to North Carolina for a three-match weekend, looking to extend its five-match winning streak.

The Ospreys will face host Charlotte before playing two neutral-site matches against Georgia State and Appalachian State.

Against Our Opponents
  • UNF holds a 1-0 record against the Mountaineers.
  • UNF met Appalachian State March 9th, 2010 resulting in a 5-2 win for the Ospreys.

Charlotte

  • Charlotte's head coach Kyle Bailey is in his first year with the 49ers.

Georgia State
  • The Panthers bring in a 4-7 overall record.
  • Junior Andrei Duarte and sophomore Roberts Grinvalds lead GSU with a five-match doubles winning streak this spring.
  • GSU is 3-2 over its last five matches. It downed the ASUN's Stetson, 4-3, and also picked up a 6-1 triumph against Mercer.

Appalachian State
  • Appalachian State is 2-9. The Mountaineers are 1-4 over their last five, with the only win coming as a 4-1 victory against Winthrop.
  • The Mountaineers fell to the ASUN's Lipscomb, 6-1, January 18.
  • Milo Bargeron is 5-3 at the two slot. 
  • App State has used three players at the one singles slot.
