North Florida (13-10, 6-4 ASUN) used an 8-2 run to tie the game for the final time on Dasha Eremeeva's lay up towards the end of the first half.

Turning Point
FGCU (23-2, 10-0) went on an 8-2 run to lead 49-41 - its biggest lead of the game at that point and from there the Eagles kept their distance to secure the win.

INSIDE THE GAME

The first quarter featured six lead changes and three ties as North Florida trailed by just four points, 19-15 after one. Jackson scored the first 12 points of the game before Rhetta Moore got on the board with a triple.
In the second quarter, FGCU had its longest run of the game with a 7-0 stretch to make it 30-24 by the media.
North Florida then turned around and used an 8-2 run to tie the game, but FGCU went back on its end and converted an offensive rebound to take a 34-32 lead into the break.
FGCU came out firing with a 7-2 run to start the third quarter, forcing an early timeout from the Ospreys. Out of the break, UNF shrank the lead to 41-39 thanks to three-point play from Tiffany Tolbert.
The teams seemed to trade baskets with FGCU continually answering every Osprey score and it proved to be a difference making when the Eagles hit a three-pointer as time expired to own a 58-49 advantage.
The fourth quarter saw UNF whittle the lead back to five points on Green's driving layup, but the Eagles answered with a triple on the other end and kept their distance for the rest of the game.
Neither team hit a field goal for the final three minutes of the game, but the hosts went 6-for-6 at the line to put the game out of reach.

The 65 points scored against FGCU is the most for UNF apart from the win in 2018 when it had 75.
It was the third time this season Jackson scored 20+ points in a game and fifth time in her career.
Green's 17 points mark her 15th double-figure scoring output.
Rhetta Moore came off the bench to chip in six points and grab a career-high six rebounds.
Jazz Bond added seven points with two blocks and four rebounds.
North Florida shot 41.7 percent from the field - improving on the 29 percent shot against FGCU in the first meeting.

What's Next
North Florida continues its road trip as it travels to NJIT for a Monday game in Newark. The Ospreys defeated NJIT 71-48 in the first meeting.
