
Relays Shine on Opening Day of CCSA Championship

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - North Florida swimming kicked things off with a pair of strong relays at the CCSA Championships including the 200 medley that finished just shy of the UNF school record.
Notable Swims
200 Medley Relay: 6th - Jacqueline Barklund, Zoe Trenz, Esther Quackenbush, Camryn Greenleaf (1:45.26)
800 Free Relay: 7th - Ryan Showfety, Ashley Cozad, Mary-Kate Wichalonis, Anne Fletcher (7:38.12)
Time Trials:Â
100 IM: Julianna Graf (58.91) - "A" Tiime for NIC
Of Note
- The Ospreys cut three seconds off their time in the 800 free relay that was set at the Liberty Invite in November.Â
- In the second event of the day, the four swimmers were able to cut a second of the best time of the season and clock in just shy of the UNF school record.
Coffey Talk
"This was a good way to start off the meet! I was very happy with our relays. We finished up the session going .02 off the school record in the 200 medley relay. I am looking forward to starting individual events tomorrow." - Head Coach Ian Coffey

The CCSA Championships continues Thursday, beginning with the 10 a.m. morning prelim session. The afternoon session is slated for a 6 p.m. start and will see the finals for the 200 free relay, 500 Free, 200 IM and 50 Free.
