Box Score 2 JACKSONVILLE - North Florida softball opened up the day with a 10-2 win against Alabama A&M to give Coach Marcie HIggs her 400th career victory. The Ospreys fell in the night cap to ETSU, 10-6.

How it Happened:
- The Bulldogs got on the board in the first inning with the help of an Osprey miscue, a sac bunt and a single.
- North Florida (3-4) responded with four runs on three hits. Taylor Engman made it to base on a hit-by-pitch before Kayla McGory doubled to bring home Engman for the tie.
- Rebecca Koskey then singled up the middle to score McGory. A ground out moved the runner over before Shannon Glover had an inside the park home run down the left field line to make it a 4-1 game.
- The Ospreys added a run thanks to McGory's second RBI of the day.
- Alabama A&M scored its final run in the fourth - again with the help of an error and two hits.
- On the UNF side of the inning, McGory tallied her third RBI, scoring Elaina Lukas who reached on her own single for the 6-2 lead.
- Engman led off on with a triple before scoring on a wild pitch. Back-to-back walks put two on before an RBI single for Koskey for the 8-2 advantage.
- Bailee Aguigui hit a short roller to second base and Alabama A&M attempted to get the runner at home, but failed to convert, allowing McGory to come home.
- The game ended in the sixth when another wild pitch allowed the Ospreys to come home for the 10-2 win.

How it Happened:
- ETSU started the game with a three-run first inning before UNF answered back with two runs in the second.
- UNF trailed for the remainder of the game as the Bucs added a run in the fifth and a pair in the sixth to lead 6-2 heading into the final frame.
- The Bucs tacked on four runs on three hits and two walks to lead 10-2 with the Ospreys left to bat.
- North Florida tried to make it a game with a single and a walk followed by a double to score one, 10-3
- With two still on the pond, Koskey hit a bomb, her second of the season, to make it 10-6.
- Paige Pfent tried to keep the momentum going with a double to left center, but a pitching change allowed ETSU to end the threat to leave with the win.
NOTES
- On the day, Koskey hit .833, going 5-for-6 with six RBI, two walks and two runs scored.
- Glover hit .667 with two RBI and two runs scored.
- Hailey Raulerson came in relief in the ETSU game and got the Ospreys out of a no-out, bases loaded jam as she got back-to-back strikeouts and had the other batter ground out to her to end the inning.
- Higgs now has 307 wins at North Florida in her 12th season.
