LOOKING BACK
  • North Florida opened the weekend 2-2, beating Western Kentucky and College of Charleston  Friday before falling to WKU and host Troy Sunday.
  • Sophomore transfer Rebecca Koskey led the Ospreys, hitting.417 and putting up one of the Ospreys' three multi-base hit with her home run.
  • The pitching staff combined to post a 3.11 ERA with 10 strikeouts.


SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
Florida (4-1)
  • Kendyl Lindaman led the Gators on USA Softball Top 50 "WatchList" with 15 homers last season and recorded 121 total bases.
  • Sophomore Charla Echols leads the team with a.467 average, seven hits and seven RBI.
  • Florida's junior Natalie Lugo obtained a 2.02 ERA, struck out 94 batters and only walked 17 last season.
  • Jordan Roberts was the only player in the SEC with a 1.000 fielding percentage in 2019, hitting .262 with 36 RBI and nine homers.
  • The Gators went 4-1 in their opening weekend, falling only to No. 17/14 Michigan. In the wins, UF outscored its opponents 26-5.
