JACKSONVILLE - North Florida swimming travels to North Carolina to face Gardner-Webb Friday and UNC Asheville Saturday it its final home meets before the CCSA Championships in February.

1. LAST TIME OUT
UNF swimming (4-8) continued a busy January splitting a tri-meet at Old Dominion (5-2) after downing VMI, 213-55, while falling to the host Monarchs, 195-91, Jan. 18. UNF's 213 points in the win against VMI was its most since a 227-68 victory against Charleston Oct. 24, 2009.

2.  COFFEY TALK
""This is going to be our last weekend of meets before we prepare for the CCSA Championships in a few weeks. It can give us a pretty good look at where we stand with two conference opponents. Both programs are tough and we are looking forward some great racing this weekend."

3. IF YOU'RE NOT FIRST, YOU'RE LAST
The Ospreys finished first in 12 events against VMI and Old Dominion, their most first place finishes this season. Camryn Greenleaf picked up two individual first-place finishes in the 50 and 100 free, respectively, while helping the 400 medley relay and 200 free relays to top finishes as well.

4. SCOUTING THE COMPETITION
Gardner-Webb is coming off a 181-68 loss to No. 14 Auburn. Marguerite Sesti placed second for the Bulldogs in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:34.35. Mike Blum is in his first season coaching GWU's swimming team. In 2018, North Florida dominated Gardner-Webb to grab a win against the CCSA foe for the first time in program history.
