- UNF finished with three shots in the first half to a pair for Liberty
- The Flames Gabrielle Farrell saw a shot off a free kick soar high in the 53rd minute
- Reiss answered with a shot on goal via a free kick in the 62nd minute that was saved by the Liberty keeper

- Kendra Hoffman notched a shot on goal in the 79th minute for the Ospreys

- The Ospreys eventually netted the decisive score as Hollyn Knight slipped a pass to Reiss at the top of the 18-yard box setting up a bending left-footed shot into the top left corner
- For the game, North Florida out shot Liberty, 8-5
- UNF goalkeeper Rhiannon Conelley earned the shutout win with one save
QUICK KICKS

- UNF avenged a 2-1 season ending loss at Liberty last year
FAULCONERÂ TALES
"Incredibly proud of this team today and what a great start to conference play. Liberty came in here on a roll and played a very difficult non conference schedule. They are a very good team and presented a wide variety of issues that I thought we dealt with quite well. Our team defending was excellent and we did enough on the attack to create some chances. Anytime you can flip a result from the year before it is a step in the right direction. We will enjoy this today, but quickly turn our attention to a difficult conference road swing next week. We have been a very good team on the road this year and we will look to continue to build on today's result." - Head coach Eric Faulconer
