LEADERBOARD: Sophomore Liss Davalos carded a hole-in-one as part of an opening round 3-under 69 on Friday to help lead the North Florida women's golf team into a tie for third in the standings at the Lady Paladin Invitational.Â
FIRST TEE
- Liss Davalos was the squad's top performer on day one of the Lady Paladin, finishing with a 3-under 69 which placed her second in individual medalist rankings
- Junior Sara McKevitt fired a 1-over 73 and finds herself in the Top 20, listed in a tie for 15th after 18 holes of action
- Senior Sydney Shrader posted an opening round 75 (T30) and junior Mindy Herrick is tied for 37th after a round of 76 on Friday
- Sophomore Daniela Gonzalez rounded out the Osprey lineup with a 77 (T47th)
- North Florida carded a team total of 293 to share third place on the leaderboard with in-state rival USF
- Wake Forest's Siyun Liu tops the medalist rankings after a 5-under 67
