PIGG'S POINTS
"This is a very exciting opportunity for our teams. Missouri has built a fabulous new course that is home to the State high school championships. This will be the first race on the course. Coach Halter and his staff go to great lengths to host track and cross country meets so I know it will be a first-class event. The competition is strong with Missouri, Texas A&M, UAB, Illinois State and Drake. It is nice to race a lot of strong teams and see opponents that we do not see on a regular basis. Our teams are coming together after some early season sickness and aches and pains so we should be ready to roll. We are all really looking forward to the races on Friday evening." -- head coach Jeff Pigg
