LEADERBOARD: Making the program's first tournament appearance in the Pacific Time Zone, the North Florida women's golf team ended opening day play at the Gonzaga Collegiate in ninth-place following rounds of 300 and 293.
FIRST TEE
- Junior Mindy Herrick posted the team's low first round score of 74 followed by a 73 during the afternoon session to rank tied for 21st at 147
- Sophomore Daniela Gonzalez also finished the day with a 36-hole score of 147 after rounds of 75 and 72
- Senior Sydney Shrader is tied for 33rd behind rounds of 75-74=149, while junior Sara McKevitt recorded rounds of 76-74 to sit in a tie for 39th (150)
- Sophomore Liss Davalos rounded out the Osprey lineup in a tie for 58th (152) following rounds of 78-74
- North Florida ended day one with a score of 683
- Gonzaga's Jessica Mangrobang tops the indivdual standings at 2-under 140
