UNF Athletics Celebrates 15 Years of NCAA Division I Membership

Celebration to Feature All-DI Team, First DI Hall of Fame Class and Special Events
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The University of North Florida Athletics Department announces the celebration of the 15th year of NCAA Division I membership with a special weekend slated for November 7-9 with events throughout the weekend.
UNF entered its NCAA Division I transition period in 2005-2006, competing with a full Division I schedule across all sports. The Ospreys became fully eligible to compete for NCAA Championships in 2009-10. The 2019-2020 season marks UNF's 15th season as a Division I program along with recognizing 10 full years of competing for ASUN and Division I championships.
The celebration of Division I membership will culminate with Alumni Weekend November 7-9, 2019 centered around three-sporting events and the first-ever Division I Hall of Fame Class induction ceremony. In addition, the Ospreys will be announcing an All-Division I team to celebrate success across each program's history.

Men's Basketball vs. Florida National - Thursday, Nov. 7 - 7 p.m.
Volleyball vs. Jacksonville - Friday, Nov. 8 - 7 p.m.
Women's Basketball vs. Warner - Saturday, Nov. 9 - 1 p.m.
Hall of Fame event - Saturday, Nov. 9 - 5:30 p.m.
Individual programs will also have events to be announced at a later date.
Division I 15th Anniversary Celebration featuring the Hall of Fame Induction
Date: Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019
Time: Social begins at 5:30 | Dinner at 6:30 p.m.
Place: University Center - University of North Florida Campus
There are multiple ticket-purchasing options available for the main event. Individuals tickets start at $30. Reserved tables of eight can be purchased for $500, while Sponsored tables go for $1,000 and feature sponsor recognition. All tickets include dinner and drinks.
