JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The final push for the ASUN Championship begins Thursday from DeLand when the three-seeded Ospreys face No. 6 Lipscomb in the quarterfinals. First serve is set for 5 p.m. from Stetson's Mandy Stoll Tennis Center.
This is the third time that all rounds of the ASUN Men's Tennis Championship has been held in DeLand, with the last time being in 2011.
Championship Format
The championship follows a single-elimination format with the top two seeds receiving byes from competing in the quarterfinals. The winner of the North Florida and Lipscomb match will take on No. 2 Liberty Friday, April 19, at 5 p.m. On the other side of the bracket is No. 5 Stetson and No. 4 Kennesaw State. The victor goes up against FGCU Friday at 1 p.m.

UNF in the Championship
North Florida has made nine appearances in the ASUN Championship, with the first appearance occurring in 2010. UNF comes in as the reigning regular season and postseason champion after downing Stetson, 4-1, in the title match a year ago. It won its first championship in 2016, a 4-1 triumph against USC Upstate in Spartanburg, S.C.
UNF has made the semifinals every season that it has competed in the ASUN Championship. The Ospreys have appeared in six finals matches, going 2-4 in such appearances.
