LYNCHBURG, Va. - UNF evened the match up at 3-3 after a 3-1 deficit, but the decisive match at the five slot went the Flames' way as the hosts clipped the Ospreys (10-10, 3-2 ASUN) in a battle at the Cook Tennis Courts Saturday, April 6.
Against Our Opponents
UNF and UNA met once back in 1999. The Ospreys prevailed, 6-2, in Jacksonville.
The Ospreys are 13-0 against Lipscomb in series history. They first met in 1984.

About Our Seniors
- Sahil Deshmukh touts impressive numbers, ranking as one of the best Ospreys in program history. Deshmukh is 73-39 in singles play, accruing 50 singles wins in dual competition, good for fifth all-time. His 67 doubles triumphs is sixth in UNF's Division I history, and this past week he received the No. 83 ranking in the ITA/Oracle Doubles ranking with Nilo Duarte.
- Till Von Winning arrived in Jacksonville in 2017 after transferring from Division II Ferris State. The Schopfheim, Germany, native helped UNF claim the 2018 ASUN Regular Season and 2018 ASUN Championship titles. He was tabbed to the 2018 ASUN All-Conference Singles and Doubles Team.
Lipscomb
- The Bisons are 7-11 and 2-3 in conference, slotted fifth in the league standings.
- Lipscomb has a combined .459 winning percentage in singles play this year, posting a .522 percentage in doubles.
- No individual has notched double-digit singles wins. Pablo Caffarena is the closest at 9-7.
North Alabama
- The Lions are 3-14 and 1-4 in the ASUN.
- UNA picked up its first ASUN win in program history Saturday after defeating NJIT, 5-2.
