- The Ospreys responded with a 9-3 spurt of their own to earn a lead at the 15:17 mark | UNF would not relinquish the lead the rest of the game
- Over the next several minutes, UNF put together a 17-4 spurt to seize control of play in the first half | The run was capped by a span of 11 straight points
- Noah Horchler made his presence felt, scoring 20 of UNF's final 27 points of the half
- The Lions made a late surge and cut the Osprey lead to 10 (40-30) at intermission
