Leah Ferlin stand up in earning a hard fought 1-0 ASUN road victory on Thursday night at Kennesaw State.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Ospreys converted an early opportunity when
Thais Reiss carried the ball to the left edge of the box and sent a service to the feet of
Leah Ferlin, who settled the ball and quickly chipped the ball past the diving KSU keeper for the 1-0 lead
- UNF continually connected passes during the first half and managed a 4-2 lead in shot attempts
- Kennesaw State turned up the pressure out of intermission earning and flipping the edge in shooting
- 76th minute saw a golden chance for the KSU equalizer but the shot from inside the 6-yd box slid just wide of the right post, keeping the Owls off the board
- The Owls collected their first shot on goal in the 87th minute, but a tremendous save by
Rhiannon Conelley turned the chance away on a ball driven to the lower left corner
- North Florida earned their fourth consecutive win and improved to 2-0 in ASUN competition
