JACKSONVILLE - North Florida men's soccer heads to Newark, N.J. for a conference match against the 4-3-4 NJIT Highlanders.

1. LAST TIME OUT - The Ospreys lost 2-0 to Mercer in Macon Monday. The first goal of the match came in the 31st minute, the final goal coming late in the second half. The Ospreys sent five shots on target, but couldn't find the finish they needed to end the shutout.

2.  UNDEFEATED – North Florida remains undefeated in ASUN play after dropping Jacksonville, 2-0 in the River City Rumble October 5. Currently tied with Stetson, the Ospreys are looking to stay atop the conference standings with two games remaining.

3. RANKED – Redshirt sophomore Padraic Gilley is currently ranked 33rd in the country and 1st in the ASUN in goals against average (0.827).

4. FRESH FACE WITH THE BRACE - Freshman Robbie Soronellas earned a brace against Jacksonville as he scored the pair of goals – his first of the season – against the Dolphins. It is the third time in five years that an Osprey player has scored two goals in a game against Jacksonville. Helge Pietschmann (2014) and Collin Scott (2018) were the others to accomplish the feat.

5. SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS – The Highlanders welcome the Ospreys after their 5-0 victory against VMI October 5. NJIT is on an unbeaten streak of three matches, dating back to a 3-0 win against Liberty (Sept. 28). Forward Rene White is NJIT's leading scorer with 28 career goals. He was selected to the College Soccer News National Team of the Week for October 6, the same day he earned third ASUN weekly honor. NJIT's attack has scored at least two goals in six of their 11 matches this season.
