JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – North Florida Men's Soccer redshirt senior forward Luc Granitur and senior defender Jaylen Yearwood earned Atlantic Sun Conference weekly honors on Monday.

Granitur was named ASUN Player of the Week and Yearwood added ASUN Defender of the Week accolades. It is the first weekly conference honor for Granitur and Yearwood.

"We're happy for Jaylen and Luc to get these weekly awards," Head Coach Jamie Davies said. "It's a result of a great team performance and these two individually stepping up at the right moment to make a difference."

Granitur posted a goal and an assist for three points in the win. His three points are tied for second on the team. It marked the eighth goal and the sixth assist of his career.

Yearwood notched three assists and played 82 minutes in the win. The three assists in a single match tied the most in program history and the most since Alex Morrell recorded three against USC Upstate on Nov. 14, 2015. He also led the backline to post its second shutout of the season. His three assists lead the team, lead the ASUN Conference and rank 11th in the nation. He has started all five matches and has played 70 or more minutes in four of the five matches this season.

North Florida hosts Georgia Southern on Monday, Sept. 8 at Hodges Stadium. First touch is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET on ESPN+.
