TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The UNF men's tennis team completed day one at the nine-team Bedford Cup, with the Ospreys notching three doubles wins and four singles triumphs Friday, Oct. 11.

Senior Charley Castaing advanced to the Flight B Singles Quarterfinals as well as the Flight B Doubles Semifinals alongside freshman PJ Kotan. North Florida will also feature two pairs in the Flight A Doubles Quarterfinals on day two.

Coach Lucas' Comments
"Overall it was sort of a mixed bag today," head coach Matt Lucas said. "We squandered some real opportunities in some individual matches and we have to get that sorted out before the spring season. The fall is all about the guys and what they need to do to make strides in the areas where they are deficient. Hopefully we start taking some accountability for our games and control what we can control. If we do that the results will take care of themselves. Tomorrow is another opportunity, so we will see how we react."
