JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - UNF volleyball has a pair of short trips to make this weekend when it goes to Stetson Friday and across town Sunday to face Jacksonville. First serve Friday is set for 6 p.m. from DeLand, while UNF and JU go head-to-head at 1 p.m.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -Â UNF's offense was powerful and efficient Saturday night as the Ospreys hit .400 en route to a sweep of visiting NJIT (1-18, 0-4 ASUN) Oct. 5 from the UNF Arena.Â
Sophomore Solimar Cestero paced the Ospreys (7-11, 1-3 ASUN) behind 15 kills and .464 hitting, while Gabby O'Connell and Taryn Griffey also hit above .400 respectively.

The outside uncorked 15 kills on .464 hitting while providing six digs. Solimar has notched at least 10 kills in 10 of her 15 matches, and posted a career high 16 against FIU September 14. On six occasions she has tallied at least .300 hitting.Â
4. An Ace Up Our Sleeve
The serve has been a secret weapon for the Osprey offense this season. UNF has notched 90 aces, second in the league. Freshman Julianna Askew has accounted for many of those, posting 28, good for second in the ASUN. Sophomore Alessia Venturelli has tallied 21, sixth most in the conference.Â
