CONFER COMMENTS
"This was a big win for our girls. Appalachian State is a tough team to play, especially at their place. We scored a great goal early and created several more quality chances. I think our defense and Rhiannon (Conelley) have been playing well. We continue to grow as a team. I'm really proud of how our team has responded after the 0-3 start. They could have made excuses or given up, but the chemistry on this team has been great and they believed in each other. That is the reason we have had success the past couple games." - Head coach Robin Confer
