CONFER COMMENTS
"FGCU is a very good team and we knew it was going to be a battle. We had a game plan that was working and thought we frustrated them a bit. We held them to three shots in the second half, but unfortunately those shots went in. It's tough to stay in a game when that happens. We will regroup and focus on next weekend which will be another tough two games. We like that we will be playing at home. This team has come a long way since the start of the season and had the longest unbeaten streak in the program's Division I era. Our girls responded well after the 0-3 start and I know they will be ready for this weekend." - Head coach Robin Confer
UP NEXT
North Florida closes out the home portion of its 2018 ledger with a final two-match home stand next weekend hosting NJIT (Friday) and Kennesaw State (Sunday). The Ospreys will recognize and honor their senior class prior to Friday's kickoff.
