ATLANTA, Ga. – The University of North Florida men's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw in an exhibition match at Georgia State on Tuesday evening.
"The match was really a tale of two halves for us," said head coach
Derek Marinatos. "In the first half, our guys were still adjusting to the adjustments we've been making in practice, but they were able to settle in and execute those adjustments in the second half."
Ivan Castro tied the match at one apiece after scoring on a header off the pass from
Nick Lodovico in the 55
th minute.
Goalkeeper
Padraic Gilley notched three saves in the draw.
The Ospreys continue exhibition play, as UNF hosts Daytona State on Saturday, Aug. 18 at 7 p.m.
